Dietary Consultations

Emily sees clients for individual consultations from her practice in Pinelands.  She can give you dietary advice for management of any of the following:

  • Healthy weight loss and weight management
  • Healthy eating for good energy levels, mood and concentration  (including management of depression and anxiety)
  • Management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes
  • Chronic diseases of lifestyle such as:
    • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
    • High cholesterol
    • Insulin resistance
  • Women’s health
    • Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome
    • Nutrition for fertility
    • Gestational Diabetes
    • Nutrition during pregnancy and lactation
    • Optimal nutrition for hormonal health (menopause, PMS etc)
  • Eating disordered and disordered eating patterns such as:
    • Binge Eating Disorder
    • Anorexia nervosa
    • Bulimia nervosa
  • Gluten intolerance, celiac’s disease, and other food intolerances or allergies
  • Childhood and teenage nutrition


The initial consultation is 60-90 minutes long.  It includes a full nutrition assessment followed by practical, up-to-date nutrition education tailored to your health conditions, goals and specific needs.  Practical advice and tools to help you implement the suggested changes will also be given to you.


Follow-up consultations can be 30 – 60 minutes long, depending on personal need.  It is suggested that you have at least one follow-up session 1-3 weeks after your initial consultation.  However, in order to implement permanent lifestyle changes and see results, it is recommended that you attend regular follow-ups for a few months.  The number of follow-ups required will depend on your condition, your progress, and your personal goals.  Emily can advise you accordingly.
