Kim’s story – Weight loss without fat diets
The reason I visited Emily is because I am overweight and have tried various fad diets that did not work at all. I was concerned with my general wellbeing and thought about preventing disease in the long run. Emily designed a personalised eating plan and helped me establish realistic goals. She also taught me techniques to stay on track. I am proud to say that I felt different after the first week. I did not feel hungry and my blood sugar levels remained constant as I was eating smaller meals but at regular intervals. Emily is consistent with her ongoing encouragement and support and also made me realise the importance of exercise. Emily is patient, understanding and I felt comfortable to ask her any questions. Emily is passionate about helping her patients and will go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals. I still enjoy my favourite foods but have been taught to eat the right combinations of food.
